Join this gathering of local leaders, clergy, and community for the Triangle MLK Holiday Weekend kickoff event and wreath-laying ceremony at the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to honor his life and as a symbol of solidarity towards achieving a more beloved community.

45th Annual Triangle Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Prayer Breakfast “Mission Possible: The Power of Justice and Radical Love”

7:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Durham)

In-person at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, 4700 Emperor Blvd. Durham, NC (RTP)

  • Doors open at 6 am. Breakfast available until 8 am

  • Program starts at 7:15 am

Keynote Speaker: Donna Coletrane Battle, Ph.D.

Dr. Battle is a spiritual practitioner, soul coach, and educator focused on justice and healing as they relate specifically to the intersection of race, gender, and spirituality.  She holds a BA in Public Relations from NC A&T State University, an MDiv from Duke University, and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern University.
