I’ve always been a Raleigh girl at heart! I grew up in Fuquay and always thought I’d leave NC for college or once I found a job, but I just never found a good enough reason to leave my home. You’ll probably notice my boyfriend, Jack, in our content when he visits and eventually moves here to NC... expect lots of double date recs! I love trying new food, going to coffee shops and exploring local shops & boutiques, so if I am not working (heck, even when I am working) that’s likely what I’m doing. While Poppy (my sweet kitty pictured below) doesn’t share my passion for exploring the city, you’ll see her in our IG stories while I’m at home.

In high school, I discovered my passion for small businesses while studying at local coffee shops. Living in a city that prioritizes them became essential for me. After attending Meredith College, I fell more in love with Raleigh and knew I wanted to continue calling it home. You’ll likely also see my husband, Jarred, from time to time on the page. I love exploring breweries, any place that has karaoke, cute local shops (a bonus if they sell pop culture things - big swiftie here), and local parks. I’m also a dog mom to two, Sasha and Bronco, so expect dog-friendly recommendations here.
